The two get to spend a weekend together, as they look to decide what is next for them. However, their time together brings a new perspective on life that sees them questioning the relationship they are trying to keep secret.

Verdict on Through My Window Across the Sea

Through My Window Across the Sea is a romantic comedy following a couple trying to manage their long-distance relationship. It follows them getting to finally spend time together, however not everything goes as smoothly as they had hoped.

This ends up being a confusing over top teenage love triangle movie. It seems to fill the cast up with so many characters that are all trying to hook up with each other. On paper, it looks to set up one romance, but it ends up feeling like so much more is going on. There is way too much drama for what is meant to be a love story, leaving us bored with the final outcome.

Where to Watch: Through My Window Across the Sea is available on Netflix now.

Final Thoughts – Through My Window Across the Sea is way too much melodrama and unrealistic love stories.

However, this decision leads her to meet Eric (Powers) a younger videographer that happens to be her new boss’s son.

When Jenna and Brian start spending more time together, they find themselves getting romantically involved, despite the potential consequences. It leads them down a path of wondering whether they can stay together and be successful in business or not.

Verdict on The Perfect Find

The Perfect Find is a romantic comedy following a former fashion designer who is trying to rebuild her career. However, her life takes a turn when she gets involved with her new boss’s son. Even if it sees things going well, it is more how long can they keep it a secret.

This gets to play into how life can turn around suddenly, and rebuilding can take you in strange directions. It shows what can be seen as a forbidden love due to an age difference and spins it around with the older woman and younger man. While it gets to tackle the typical difficult relationship subjects, it does seem to end up using the luxury lives, rather than characters with daily struggles. The performances are good and you can get a nice enjoyable rom-com experience in the movie.

Where to Watch:  The Perfect Find is available now on Netflix.

Final Thoughts – The Perfect Find is an enjoyable rom-com.

As Stanley starts investigating Sophie (Stone), he sees his own opportunity to make a big comeback. This sees Stanley’s life change as Sophie becomes the centre of attention and he starts questioning his own desire to feel love.

Verdict on Magic in the Moonlight

Magic in the Moonlight is a romantic comedy following an illusionist who looks to expose a medium. He looks for the tell-tell signs until he starts to struggle to see the signs he needs. However, the more time he spends with her, the more he starts to fall in love with her.

This is one of the typical Woody Allen movies, that tries to create an awkward figure struggling in his world. He gets something new to make him feel welcomed only for everything else to start unfolding around him. There isn’t too much to get behind here and by the end of the movie, you will feel like nothing much has happened. This is nothing against the performances that are strong from the cast, it is the story that holds everything back.

Final Thoughts – Magic in the Moonlight is a flat romantic comedy.

Adam & The Water is a romantic fantasy following a lonely man who meets a mysterious woman. It seems to start to turn his life around, however, not everything is complete as it seems.

This is a movie that gets to focus on what we would like in life, over what we can have in life. It highlights the dependence on technology and how people can become isolated in this world. There is a clear message that people are now missing the signs that others need help and cover it up in fantasies that play out in their heads. It is told in a strange method that is really interesting to see unfold.

Final Thoughts – Adam & the Water is a nice look at how life can become boring.

When he meets the perfect woman, he must prove that he wants something serious if he is ever going to win her heart.

This is a romantic comedy like many we have seen before. It puts a larger focus on the guy changing and needing to prove it. This is a proven style for the genre and it has worked many times before and it does again here. Everything is kept simple, and the bad dates are exaggerated versions of women. There are some good laughs, which mostly come from bad dates. The romance between Blake and Mel feels real and the message about letting someone in to change your life is clear.
