Thoughts on False Positive

ThoughtsFalse Positive is a horror mystery thriller that will dive into the sensitive subject of fertility doctors helping couple has babies, taking us behind the private door between the two, as the nightmare scenario happens for soon to be mother Lucy. This will have the real struggles couples can have when it comes to conceiving, showing how difficult turning to a fertility doctor could be, with the happiness that they might finally get their child, to the emotional rollercoaster that being pregnant can be. This last part is where all the horror involved comes, mixing what could be a series of real factors a mother could have, with the unknown of what could have been done by the clinic. Each nightmare sequence will show how Lucy’s mind is slowly losing control. The performances from Ilana Glazer and Pierce Brosnan are great, showing the uneasy minds Lucy is going through, with the calming presence Dr Hindle has on the movie. This does seem to want to modernise the nightmare pregnancy storyline and for the most part everything is done well through the film, to keep us on edge, showing the real problems a professional woman faces in the modern world, as well as the family home changes.

Final Thoughts False Positive is the disturbing thriller filled with uneasy nightmare visions.
