Verdict on The Other Fellow

The Other Fellow is a documentary exploring the range of different people from around the world who are also named James Bond. We get to meet the original James Bond and the effect the novels had on his life. as well as countless people from everyday life that have been living through life jokes for a lifetime.

There is a mix of people that have embraced it, while others hate having to live with it. We get to meet people from a host of different backgrounds and countries that have all been through the same problems.

The movie is filled with different life stories, with one following a theatre director who is willing to embrace his name on his terms. As well as a disturbing domestic abuse case, right along to police hunting a James Bond behind a crime. The different figures we meet show how having the same name as a fictional character can change people’s lives.

This does give us an interesting look at how people with the same name live their normal lives. It sees the positives and negatives around it too, showing how life is different for people with the same name as celebrities.

Final Thoughts The Other Fellow is an interesting documentary.
