Story: Heatwave starts when ambitious woman Claire Valens (Graham) starts working for successful businessman Scott Crane (Roche). Outside of work, she meets a beautiful stranger Eve (Patterson) starting a summer romance.

Claire finds her life turned upside down when she discovers Eve is actually Scott’s wife. This leaves her in a difficult position made even worse when Scott disappears. Detective Parker (Cross) leads the investigation into the disappearance which points to Claire having a major involvement in it.

Verdict on Heatwave

Heatwave is a mystery thriller following a professional young woman working and landing a job for a successful businessman. She ends up in an affair with his wife before her boss goes missing. This leads to her becoming the prime suspect and needing to prove herself innocent.

This is a thriller that looks to keep us guessing as to what the bigger picture is. The idea that keeps throwing out new leads to the bigger meaning of what is going on. This creates a story that we can get wrapped up in waiting to see who is behind the crime. Kat Graham is great in the leading role as the woman needing to solve the mystery before time runs out.
