Verdict on Girl in the Picture
Girl in the Picture is a mystery documentary exploring a spiralling out of control mystery behind a woman’s death. Seeing how the late abduction of her child, opens to door to an even bigger mystery. One about the woman in question and the man who took the child. Claiming it was his son, despite DNA saying differently. Showing how her high school years have a horrendous abusive life, under her father’s rules.
This real-life mystery offers up twisted turns around every corner, all in the attempt to discover the truth. The documentary will focus on the search for a true identity behind the victim. Hunting down the real identity is the most interesting side of the film because it shows how badly it was investigated.
Overall, the journey we go on is filled with horrendous abuse of a victim. Before diving into an even more disturbing truth about who she really was. A life that touched so many lives. Even in such a small amount of time she spent with people.
Where to Watch: Girl in the Picture is available to watch on Netflix now.
Final Thoughts – Girl in the Picture is a difficult watch, with an important real-life story.
