Plot: When four friends Junkie (Gagne), Geek (J.Soska), Badass (S.Soska) and Goody Two Shoes (Wallis) find a dead body of a hooker in the trunk of their car their day is about to change. The group have to deal with drug dealers, bodyguards and a serial killer to uncover the truth about what happened to the hooker.

 

Verdict: Low budget horror at its best

Story: I have seen a lot of horror films over the years and one thing a lot of them fail to do is develop all of the main characters in a group, this does develop all four main character on an equal level. The mystery they are trying to solve has plenty of turns to keep you guessing. In the conclusion this is a very good story that proves you don’t need silly money to write a good film just need some skills. (9/10)

 

Actor Review: Jen Soska – Geek is nervous about the whole idea of just dumping the body but also wants to try and not let her sister Badass get in trouble. Tries to be the voice of reason throughout but doesn’t speak up loud enough often enough. Good performance showing that being a quiet character doesn’t mean you don’t say anything. (9/10)

 

Actor Review: Sylvia Soska – Badass takes no nonsense from anyone and will sooner kick someone ass than ask questions. Her smart ass remarks do lead to her getting in trouble. Good performance becoming the dominate member of the group taking charge of the situations instead of panicking. Favourite Character Award, Kick Ass Award (9/10)

Actor Review: Rikki Gagne – Junkie has one goal to get her next fix but in the end has to go through the most and ends up in black comedy gold scenes. Good performance without getting the same level as the sisters. (8/10)

 

Actor Review: C.J. Wallis – Goody Two Shoes works at the church and friend of Geek, he spends most of the time throwing up at any sight of blood but also grows the most as the story unfolds. Good performance and it must be said all the extra work he did on the film behind the camera has to be recognised. (9/10)

 

Director Review: Jen Soska, Sylvia Soska – This should be looked at as how to make a film on low budget and after these two have a great career this is the first step in it, as all the great directors have started with low budget films that get talked about now as classics be it Robert Rodriguez – El Mariachi, Eli Roth – Cabin Fever, Rian Johnson – Brick. This film shows their potential in quality storytelling and directorial skills. After seeing their next film American Mary they also have the ability to write something original too. Debut Performance Award Breakout Performance Award (10/10)

 

Action: Short snappy fight scenes proving you don’t always need an over the top fight scene to get the point across. (9/10)

Horror: Lots of gore and blood including an arm getting sown back on and a eye coming out. (9/10)

Believability: The adventure could be believable but some of what happens not so (3/10)

Suggestion: As people who read these reviews know I will always suggest a low budget horror as long as the story is told well and this checks all those boxes, I say all horror fans should watch this and all you WWE fans should watch to see what the directors on See No Evil 2 can offer.
