World War 2: The Shipwrecks of Truk Lagoon is a documentary exploring the wrecks of Truk Lagoon. It shows how the area has remained largely untouched since World War II and ecosystems have made the wreckages their home.

This explores the island’s history pre-World War II and how it got its more known name. It also explores the different types of wreckage there, some of which could be considered more dangerous than others.

This feels like a time capsule into history and how nature has been reclaiming the area, with marine life. It shows us how history can be kept without constantly needing to investigate it as well as what could happen if things get damaged more. This is a short and sweet look at a place that has beauty surrounding the destruction left behind.
