Verdict on Trainwreck: Balloon Boy
Recap
The documentary follows the events and chaos that hit America when a family believes their son has got stuck in their homemade flying saucer. It took off and swept across America leading to a massive rescue operation, where people are helpless. However, a deader story is revealed behind one of the biggest hoaxes in America.
Best Parts
This does a great job of showing how easily the country and create a panic from an incident that took over the world. It uses the real reaction before the event and after the event to show how people felt too. Deep down, it shows the family wanting to get attention and trying to prove they didn’t fake the events.
Worst Parts
Part of me thinks this isn’t a story that needed a documentary from the family’s point of view. It causes a lot of problems and it should have addressed more the people involved with the rescue attempts and other people watching in horror.
Final Thoughts – Trainwreck: Balloon Boy releases the chaos behind the biggest hoax in America.
