Verdict on Tin Soldier
Recap
The movie follows a former combat veteran who must get into a former second home. He left when the leader turned things more into a cult. However, the FBI want to close it down, but the former soldier wants answers about his wife.
Best Parts
The idea that veterans find a new way to find their place in the world is important. It creates a deadly cult where soldiers can be used as weapons in the world. The operation to close the compound down is also interesting to watch unfold.
Worst Parts
The idea is interesting but the operation feels clunky at times. It falls into the category of a movie where a big-name star has a few scenes to make it feel bigger as well. This never reaches the intensity it is trying to achieve.
Final Thoughts –Tin Soldier lacks the intensity the story suggests.
