Story: The Tenant starts as we meet Bharat (Jaiswal) a young boy living in a housing complexing where he has always been told to live a certain way, when a single woman Meera (Shetty) moves into the building, she is seemingly shunned by most of the residents, but Bharat starts to get to know her.
As the unlikely friendship starts to flourish, Bharat gets his first school boy crush, while learning life lesson from a woman the world has chewed up and isn’t accepted in the world anymore.

Thoughts – The Tenant is a drama that will show a young bou that the world he has been living in isn’t the only way to live, when a disgraced model finds herself teaching him more, while trying to hide away from the spotlight. This is a coming of age tale for the young boy, who needs a direction to get through his summer, where he learns so much more than he could ever imagine, learning how to respect people and not just do what his elders have done, learning there is more to life than following in the footsteps of the people before him, knowing he needs to be better to make a bigger impact in life. This is a film that does get strong performances from the cast, which is filled with people who have a range of different jobs to do to bring their characters to life.
Final Thoughts – The Tenant is a great coming of age tale from a world, which can be stuck in old traditions.
