The Life and Deaths of Christopher Lee is a documentary biopic following the career of Sir Christopher Lee. It follows his early days, touching on his military role before stepping into showbiz. However, despite working with some of the biggest names in Hollywood history, his height and look put stumbling blocks in the path.
The documentary follows his eventual rise to become a horror icon in Hammer Horror. However, his battle for satisfaction followed him for decades. He relocated for spells of his career, where he could battle for critical acclaim.
This follows his massive career where he took on endless roles in different genres, leaving behind a legacy of infamous roles. If you are a fan of his, this becomes a fascinating documentary. Not only exploring his career but the amazing authors, creators, actors and directors he met in his lifetime. His career proves that actors can have high and low points. With his career showing the fact he created some of the most iconic characters for over half a century.

Can’t wait to see this! In Vincent Price’s biography, his daughter says her Dad was worried the first time he met Lee, who was already an Icon as Price was – he was worried there would be animosity and competition between them. He went into Lee’s dressing room to introduce himself….Lee looked at him for a moment, then both burst out laughing and were friends from that point on!
