Sienna’s brother Jonathon (Fullman) has an unhealthy obsession with the clown, which has become an icon of the city.

Verdict on Terrifier 2
Sienna is a teenager that is preparing for Halloween, she has spent half the year working on her costume. One that pays respect to her late father. However, she starts having nightmares revolving around the killer from last year. As she becomes paranoid about the killer, she finds herself becoming the latest target of Art. She is stronger than anyone he has picked off before.
Art the Clown has returned, surviving the first film, somehow and on Halloween, he returns for more blood. His silent approach to his victims, see him torture anyone he wants before killing in violent manners. Art is a strange one because sometimes he random spends hours torturing his victims, other times he goes for quick violent kills. It works to show his unstable nature throughout his encounters. Even without his violent nature, he is terrifying just by his look.
In the supporting characters, we get a younger brother who is getting into serial killers. Elsewhere, we get the countless victims who are put through a string of different torture and violence.
David Howard Thornton continues to bring us this truly disturbing character. He has easily made himself one of the biggest icons in modern horror. David makes this character even more disturbing this time around. Lauren LaVera is excellent as a final girl that needs to fight back against Art. She brings the trauma she has been through to make her strong throughout the film.
In the supporting cast, we get some iconic figures from horror, who are mostly here for an odd scene or two. The other performers do well with the supporting to be killed-off characters in the film.
The story follows Art the Clown return for another killing spree, this time he meets Sienna, who is prepared to fight back. This time, Art is even more violent but has a strange connection to Sienna.
The story looks to open up the door to something much bigger, instead of just being a serial killer. It wants to create almost a mythology behind the battle between Art and others. This comes off very strange because it still goes hard on the violent kills. Everything seems to get caught up in the middle of wanting to bring us another violent slasher or create motivation behind Art’s actions. The length of the movie is longer than it needs to be, yet it leaves us with disturbing moments.
Terrifier 2 is an ultra-violent horror movie, that uses the Art of nature to create some of the most violent kills of the year. It takes its time with certain kills, putting the characters through horrific ordeals. That being said, the effects behind everything the characters are put through, are amazing, looking disturbing and unsettling. Despite the violence on hand, it needs to have a warning that this isn’t going to be an easy watch, with some of these violent scenes being very difficult to watch.
