Thoughts on Tom and Jerry

ThoughtsTom and Jerry is a live-action animated movie in the similar ideas of Space Jam and Sonic the Hedgehog, this time bringing the legendary cat and mouse, Tom & Jerry to the big screen. Tom & Jerry randomly puts the pair in New York, causing chaos in the big apple, which takes away what once made the main location the most interesting. Where Tom & Jerry falls even shorter in quality, is the fact we do have a storyline that should be more important about accepting responsibility in life, as a wedding is being planned, which would show a joining of culture with love. It isn’t until the later part of the film, when anything comes together and feels watchable, which could have easily just been the basic romantic comedy, without even including Tom and Jerry, for everything we get to see.

Final Thoughts Tom and Jerry is a lazy comedy falling short in jokes, heart, soul and storytelling.
