Thoughts on The Cellar

Characters & Performances – Keira has joined her husband in a new home in Ireland, working in social media, she helps create campaigns, which will often see her needing to work late. This will cause her to leave her daughter to look after her son, before she gets the haunting phone of her daughter counting in darkness. She dives into research about the home in a desperate attempt to search for answers, which will only see her go into a darker world than she could ever imagine. Brian is the husband who works with Keira, as the pair look to release their biggest project to date, not giving as much time in the searching for answers. Steven and Ellie are the two children that have become the targets of the evil in the home, Ellie does go missing early, which will show how little Keira knows about her daughter’s life. The performances in the film are great, with Elisha Cuthbert getting involved in the most, with her unease about what is going on within her new home.
