Sideworld: Damnation Village is a documentary exploring the origins of supernatural stories surrounding three villages in England. The three towns Pluckley, Prestbury and Eyam have a long history, creating stories that have travelled through time.
Whenever it comes to learning about a village’s history, it is fascinating to learn about. Adding in the supernatural elements that are people’s experiences within the village. Each village gets a nice amount of time to learn about the biggest mystery about them. This gives the audience a chance to want to visit the historical locations and see if they could have supernatural moments.
If you want to have a journey through history, this is an interesting documentary. It is just part of a series exploring other environments in English’s history.
