Verdict on Mistress America
Mistress America is a comedy-drama following two soon-to-be stepsisters who meet and learn they have a lot more in common than they imagined. It follows the pair going on a road trip to figure out how to solve the problems in Brooke’s life.
This is an important life drama showing how life can hit you very quickly whatever your age. It shows that new friendships are difficult to find, and once things get going things can get out of hand. There is plenty going on to show the struggles in life can be extremely real. It puts the spotlight on learning to understand yourself in this world.
Final Thoughts – Mistress America is a wonderful coming of age story in New York.
