Plot: While driving to an annual reunion with their university friends, Max, an unsuccessful insurance salesman, and his fun loving buddy, Doug break down. With 50 miles to go, their only option is to brave the wilderness on foot.

Story: 49 Miles More starts when Max (Henderson) finds his life struggling to meet his targets. However, his university friend Doug (Fung) needs to join him on a road trip for a reunion. When Max and Doug begin their journey, they discover that they have seen their lives go in strange directions.
However, the journey takes an unexpected turn when they get a flat tyre. They must find a new way to make the final part of their journey and overcome the obstacles thrown in their way. However, the journey shows them what life once meant to the two friends who had drifted apart.

The movie thrives in the final act; it hits a massive high and an emotional level nothing before prepares you for. It makes things easier to relate to and brings things feeling much closer.
Worst Parts
Most of the comedy struggles to hit, and the idea of a road trip in the UK makes things feel stranger. Elsewhere, it doesn’t hit the sparks on the road trip you would expect, leaving things feeling flatter for the amazing final act.
