Recap

The movie follows a group of young people trying to escape a mall. They are hunted by killer robots designed to protect the mall, but now they have turned murderous.

Best Parts

The movie embraces the newer technology talked about during the 80s, which included robot security. We saw it reach the next level a year later with RoboCop, proving that the time was a time of fear of something which could bring change. It has funny horror moments that keep things flowing nicely and fits the pure cult like horror the 80s created.

Worst Parts

While it might well be a cult classic, it does show how the world has changed negatively and how malls have become more outdated.

Final ThoughtsChopping Mall is a fun little cult classic.
