Verdict on Strange Darling
Strange Darling is a horror thriller following a serial killer hunting down their latest victim. It follows the situation spiral out of control as things get out of hand.
This movie is told in 6 chapters placed in a certain consequential order. It brings the violent nature to the movie which keeps us on edge and wanting to look away. However, the jarring storytelling design makes each chapter leave you with a different feeling. Willa Fitzgerald and Kyle Gallner are both fantastic in their roles, which keeps you wondering what they will do next. While some of the dialogue is on the nose, it creates an edgy thriller that is bound to surprise.
