Plot: Two youngsters reeling from bad breakups connect over an eventful day in South London.

Story: Rye Lane starts as Dom (Jonsson) prepares to face his ex-Gia (Peter). He bumps into a stranger Yas (Oparah), who listens to his story. She decides to crash the meeting with Gia to help him get back at her and an unlikely connection occurs.
The two spend the day together and address the problems they have been dealing with. However, it gives them a new chance to meet someone who would provide them with something new in life.
Verdict on Rye Lane
Rye Lane is a romantic comedy following two strangers who meet at a time when they both need somebody. They spend the day together and learn how to open up about their recent struggles and discover there may still be something out there for each other.
This movie shows that we can meet someone when we least expect it. It shows that people need to keep taking risks in life, if they are ever going to break out of a slump. This has one of the most natural meets in life, as the best stories happen when we least expect it. The two leads David Jonsson and Vivian Oparah are great together, showing excellent chemistry throughout the movie.

Final Thoughts – Rye Lane is an excellent journey through London with an unexpected friend.
