Verdict on Reputation
Recap
The movie follows a man whose best friend get released from prison only to drag him back to his life of crime. However, his new life is put in danger and must make a decision before it is too late.
Best Parts
The best part is showing us how easily someone’s life of crime can consume them. It uses the ideas that Rounders where someone trying to go clean gets dragged back into crime by an old friend. The performances are fantastic and make use feel like we are part of the world.
Worst Parts
This might not be for everyone, it has a raw feeling without doing much more than show the criminals laughing at what they do. It is a lot to take in and can frustrate people who get annoyed with criminal behaviour.
Final Thoughts – Reputation is a raw, strong performance but a drawn into a been here life of crime.
