Verdict on Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is an action thriller that has a striking resemblance to Netflix’s other recent movie ‘Mother’. It follows a more military figure that went into hiding to protect their child who was raised by a foster family. However, when their past comes back to haunt them, they must use their skills to protect their family.

This gets all the points for the action sequences that hit hard throughout. As for the story it keeps us guessing, with plenty of twists along the way. When it comes to the characters in the gang, we get a string of over-the-top figures. Agnieszka Grochowska is wonderful in the leading role as the ruthless agent who will do anything to get her son back. She is cold in delivery and deadly in the fights.

Where to Watch: Mother’s Day is available on Netflix now.

Final Thoughts Mother’s Day is a hard-hitting non-stop action flick.
