Verdict on Most Horrible Things
Detectives Denver and Holden are working together to figure out what happened at the party. They have different levels of experience which Holden uses to his advantage. This sees the pair want answers and keep revealing evidence along the way.
The Host and The Butler are being questioned and have a unique way of presenting the party. They offer the guests a monetary reward for being here.

The performances in the film are strong throughout. Sean Sprawling and Simon Phillips as the Host and Butler are the most interesting in the performance. Elsewhere, in the cast, everyone gets to shine for different moments in the film.

This story could easily be compared to ‘Would You Rather’ by having a dinner party that is designed to help people by testing them. It puts together an interesting concept like many mysteries before it. Giving us clues to what might have happened, discussing them while showing them unfold.
