Plot: A young sketch artist agrees to an in-house therapy session with a well renowned psychiatrist as his life begins sprawling out of control after years of physical and verbal abuse has finally taken a toll on him.

Story: Mickey Hardaway starts as we meet a young sketch artist Mickey Hardaway (Hunter). He has had a skill for art for his whole life despite his father Randall (Chattam) trying to stop his dreams. One of his teachers Mr Sweeney (White) helps him get a start, even if things don’t go smoothly.

Mickey is seeing a psychiatrist Dr Harden (Cofield Jr) to help him understand his problems. As he reveals the problems he has been facing, he goes through nightmares of how to solve them, as he believes the whole world is against him.

Verdict on Mickey Hardaway

Mickey Hardaway is a drama showing how one young man who was always held back continues to see the world against him. He goes in search of help after seeing his latest chance taken away from him, but is it too late for him to be saved?

This is a powerful drama that shows the difficult lives many people go through. It shows that the pressures can pile up and even after doing everything right, it can still get to you. This is a movie that shows you that life is never going to be easy. It is how you overcome the problems you face that can define you. The performances are strong here from the whole cast, with Rashad Hunter in the leading role shining the most.

Final ThoughtsMickey Hardaway is an excellent drama about the struggles in life.
