The story follows one of Agent K’s (Tommy Lee Jones) prisoners escaping from a maximum security prisons on the Moon. Boris The Animal (Jemaine Clement) is out for revenge on K by travelling back in time to kill him in 1969.
He is successful but his plan has one problem Agent J (Will Smith) who still remembers K being there the day before. To save K’s life J must travel back in time and stop Boris and save K.
Adding the time travel element offers a new side to K which is one of the humour highlights in the film. Unfortunately it never really shines as a full blown action comedy the previous chapter have given us. Will Smith character is very done and gets on ones nerves after one too many quick one liners.
If you are a fan of the first two you will enjoy and if your a Will Smith fan you will like the film too. The one thing i must say is you have to watch all the way through as the ending is very clever to create a bigger picture.
