Story: Little Fockers starts when Jack (De Niro) suffers a heart complication. In the aftermath, he realizes that Greg (Stiller) is next in line to be head of the family. Jack decides to continue his relationship with Greg by only telling him about his heart complications.
This leads to Greg and Jack needing to work together when preparing Greg’s kids for their first school. However, Kevin’s (Wilson) return leads to the same problems as before. All the while Jack starts wondering what Greg is getting up to at work and if he is a worthy successor.
Verdict on Little Fockers
Little Fockers is the third instalment of the series of comedy movies. This time Jack is looking to put Greg in charge of the whole family after he goes. However, the next series of tests led to a series of unfortunate events.
This is a comedy that ends up losing the clever humour the first one imposed. It is the third movie in the series, which only ends up leaving even less to the imagination after the weaker second movie. We do get the same worried father-in-law situation, which doesn’t get enough attention and end up doing the same thing over again. It is easily one you could miss but could also be one for people who enjoy the same humour.
Final Thoughts – Little Fockers is a weak third chapter in the series with few laughs.
