Story: Isolated starts when Rose (Pressman) survives an attack and decides she must risk everything to get her family to a safer place. She takes a role as a live-in carer for Peter (Torre) in a luxury area of the country. It seems like a perfect role and it could help her family so what could go wrong.
However, Rose begins getting haunted by a spirit sending her warnings. Peter’s illness becomes difficult to handle, but Rose’s kindness makes things smoother. However, the feeling of being watched haunts her and she must face her past.
Verdict on Isolated
Recap
The movie follows a nurse who takes a live-in role to help her family escape the dangerous streets. It seems perfect role for her, but begins taking a darker turn when she gets haunted by spirit. She begins to investigate the home, leading her to make a disturbing revelation.
Best Parts
The movie gets a fantastic reveal to what is happening. It shows a much more twisted idea that leaves us feeling shocked by what is happening. Elsewhere, the motivation to take the role is clear and the performances are strong from the cast.
Worst Parts
Some of the scares seem more misleading than they need to be with where the final story goes. They also feel very generic for what Rose goes through.
