Story: Isaac starts as Nicholas (Vivash) and Sarah (Louise) agree to take part in a clinical trial. They have suffered their own great loss and knowing they have a genetic disease in their blood, they can’t risk spreading to their own child. However, something has gone horribly wrong, and the baby gets locked away.

The company that has offered the couple an opportunity has been working on creating a safer meat supply. GEO Group have been planning for years but Nicholas and Sarah see their relationship shattered. Now, Nicholas must figure out what to do with their son Isaac.

Verdict on Isaac

Isaac is a horror thriller following a couple that turns to an extreme measure to have a child after losing their own. They take on a baby from a meat company as part of a clinical trial. However, something has gone wrong and now they are left to wonder what to do with their son.

This is an excellent horror that manages to keep everything off-screen. We are left to watch as Nicholas sees his world come apart, while only letting us know of the consequence of what has been happening. Not letting us know what is happening leaves us with an even more disturbing vision of reality. This gives the movie an earnt shock value with the final reveal of everything going on. Johnny Vivash is excellent in the leading role, as he keeps our attention without giving too much away.

Final ThoughtsIsaac is an excellent horror that keeps us wondering what the truth is.
