Plot: After moving to the suburbs, a young couple finds themselves trapped in an epic battle between their new HOA and an onslaught of monsters from hell.

Story: Hold the Fort starts when Lucas (Mayers) and Jenny (Leary) move into a new suburb home. However, they get a quick surprise that the Homeowners Association leader Jerry (Smith) holds a meeting prepares for an attack from a host of evil monsters.

Lucas and Jenny are not sure whether to take it seriously or not, but play along with the meeting. However, they must adapt quickly when the gates of hell are opened, and monsters begin their attack. The residents must work together to survive the night, as the hordes of evil attack.

Recap

The movie follows new homeowners who discover they have bought a house next to a gateway to hell. However, they have other residents who prepare for the battle every year and now they face their first onslaught of monsters.

Best Parts

This movie embraces the horror comedy and then some. It dives straight into the action and never holds back from the wacky creations. If you want a horror comedy which is relentless, this is a perfect fit. The performances embrace the characters too, which bring the laughs and blood splattering action.

Worst Parts

Some of the special effects are not as polished as we would be used to. However, we can overlook that because of the bonkers series of events unfolding. Also, the more practical ones look great.

Final ThoughtsHold the Fort is a relentless, non-stop horror comedy.
