Thoughts on From the Vine

ThoughtsFrom the Vine is a drama showing how one man gives us his successful life in Canada to return home to Italy, starting by just wanting to find himself, but soon deciding to reopen his family’s vineyard, finding a fresh happiness in his later years of life. This is the type of mid-life crisis movies we have been seeing for years, with the idea that sometimes risking everything to find something new, will give you a new meaning to life. This will have the life affirming moments in life, rebuilding the relationship between family and sending the feel-good message to a small town community. The performances are excellent with Joe Pantoliano, Paula Brancati and Wendy Crewson bringing the American cast to life, while Marco Leonardi, Tony Nardi, Tony Nappo bringing the Italian cast to life. The Italian backdrop is beautiful to see, being the complete opposite to watch has been experienced in the busy North American areas the family comes from.

Final Thoughts From the Vine is an enjoyable life-crisis movie about finding a new place in life.
