Plot: The widowed Catherine is busy trying to protect herself and her son from a local criminal organization. When Nick Boon and Catherine’s lives cross paths, they find themselves leaning on each other to protect everything they stand for.

Story: Boon starts when the mysterious stranger Boon (McDonough) finds himself in a small town. He finds himself caught up in a shootout, where Catherine (Seidel) helps him. His appearance has a few people searching for him. However, Catherine has her own problems with local gang leader Emilia Fitzgerald (Ochoa).

As Catherine’s problems start to hit home, Boon steps in to help her. However, his own past starts to catch up with him and now they must work together to escape the situation.

Verdict on Boon

Boon is an action thriller following a lone stranger wanted by the law that gets involved in helping someone in need. He uses his skills to protect them when they get caught up in the middle of a criminal organisation. They must work together to get out of the situation alive.

This is a thriller that brings two people together in a situation where they need to get the most out of their lives. We see them needing to learn about their weaknesses to beat a common enemy. This builds up a mysterious figure well, while the gang doesn’t ever really feel like a threat. Neal McDonough is great in his leading role in the movie. while Christiane Seidel adds an emotional level to the movie with her character’s situation.

Final Thoughts Boon is a by-the-books thriller that keeps us on edge throughout.
