Recap

The movie follows a couple facing a tragedy as one has a terminal illness. They look to have a romantic getaway to make the most of their remaining time. However, a strange discovery offers them hope they never imagined, but it comes at a cost.

Best Parts

The movie uses the emotional time the couple are going through to show the impossible decisions they are facing. It gives them a moral dilemma which could change everything for them. This side of the story is great and keeps us wondering what could happen. Along with the creature creation, that look brilliant. The performances are strong too, with Camille Balsamo and Reid Collums shining the brightest.

Worst Parts

The police side of the story feels a little bit emptier for the main story. They are a bit too far outside of the main story, without doing enough to move the main story along.

Final Thoughts –Wellwood gives a moral dilemma blended with a creature feature.
