Verdict on To Thy Rest
Recap
The movie follows a spiritual medium hired to help at a Finnish hotel. However, he soon learns there is a much more sinister series of events happening in the hotel. It becomes a rush to understand the truth before the spirits take control.
Best Parts
Rikki Chamberlain is excellent in the leading role, he brings the frustrated down on his luck figure to life. You completely understand what he is going through and the confusion his character is going through. When it comes to the story, there is plenty of mystery around what is going on, and you can see elements of The Shining in the concept.
Worst Parts
The creepiness in the story is great, but when it comes to everything we see, not everything feels like it connects well. It can give a disconnect at certain times in the story.
Final Thoughts –To Thy Rest is a creepy horror movie.
