Plot: A poor young man is wrongly charged with drug trafficking after being deceived. An ex-prosecutor investigates the case, uncovers a corrupt lawyer team’s scheme, and restores justice despite obstruction from evil forces.

Story: The Prosecutor starts when Detective Fok (Yen) decides to leave the force to study law. He wants to see the criminals in prison, and the justice system goes against him every time. Fok works his way up in the prosecution office and enters the courtroom.
However, the more time he spends in the courtroom, the more corruption he uncovers. He decides to start taking the cases personally when a young man in wrongfully charged with drug trafficking. However, the other lawyers working for high-ranking criminals will do anything to stop him from exposing their secrets.
Verdict on The Prosecutor

The movie follows an ex-detective who studies law and wants to take down the criminal gangs who keep evading the law. He learns how the system works, but his background causes him to begin taking matters into his own hands.
Best Parts
The movie has great action, with the opening sequence being a standout moment which draws you in. Elsewhere, the story of a detective becoming a lawyer to fight crime differently is great to see. It shows us how law can be filled with corruption, and people standing up to it can make a difference. Donnie Yen shines like he always does, and you want to see how the story unfolds.
Final Thoughts –The Prosecutor is an excellent action thriller about fighting for justice.
