Plot: A drifter searching for answers to a mystery from her past takes on a job looking after a sick teen who is undergoing a mysterious transformation her family will do anything to stop.

Story: The Death That Awaits starts when Cassie (Martin) cares for sick teenager Nina (Lawless). She spends every day with Nina but must stay out of the house overnight. The two become friends, and Cassie starts investigating what is wrong with Nina and why everything is so secretive.

When the pair get a visit from other family members of doctors, Cassie starts believing something else is wrong. The more see investigates the more disturbing the truth turns out to be, leading her to question everything happening in the home.

The movie follows a drifter who takes the role of carer for a sick teenager. She must follow a strict set of rules in her duty, but things soon get complicated. It leads her to investigate what is causing the rules and sickness before things get out of hand.

Best Parts

The mystery presented is the highlight of the movie, it keeps us wondering what is going on and why everything is so secretive. We get a strong bond between Cassie and Nina, which is important to what happens too.

Worst Parts

It dives into some extremer sides to fixing problems seen in the supernatural. However, it gets caught in the middle of medical and supernatural and even cruelty.
