Recap

The movie follows a musician who moves back into her family home. However, she makes a disturbing secret about her father and now her son has become the target for something which has controlled her family for years.

Best Parts

The mystery behind what has been changing is very interesting and keeps us wanting to see what the next chapter will be. It doesn’t hold back, with the reveal of the father’s sin, rather than slowly learning the truth. However, it steps into the haunting connection with a bigger story needed. Elsewhere, it tackles a bigger historical error, which has caused the larger amount of pain. The performance are good and the scare are effective.

Worst Parts

The kid is written in an annoying way and that comes from the opening introduction with the clash with the goat.

Final ThoughtsThe Confession is an entertaining paranormal investigation horror.
