Story: Trouble starts when mild-mannered salesman Conny (Berg) is found at a murder scene. He is accused of the murder and finds himself dragged into a bigger criminal conspiracy. Conny must find a way to prove his innocence, which sees him turning to the victim’s wife.

However, a determined detective Diana (Deasismont) leads an investigation to discover the truth. Meanwhile, Conny gets caught up with the people involved and finds his life in danger. He must rush to expose the truth before it is too late.

Verdict on Trouble

Trouble is a crime comedy following a mild-mannered man who finds himself as the prime suspect in a murder investigation. However, he doesn’t have anything to do with it and finds himself trying to uncover the truth. He must figure out who to trust and take on the criminals behind murder.

This movie is a fun crime comedy showing us how someone can find themselves placed in a criminal case without doing anything wrong. It plays into the fish out of water idea, as he must survive prison and escape the law. While this might be extremely far-fetched because how easily he can get in and out of prison, its helps by breaking it up with comedy. It is an entertaining watch and you could enjoy watching Conny get out of the troubles he finds himself in.

Story: Trouble starts when Ben (Pullman) tries to reclaim some of the land he sold to his sister Maggie (Huston). The two have become distant over recent years and Maggie believes Ben is invading her land. This escalates to Maggie shooting Ben, as she looks to learn about what Ben is up to.

As Maggie starts looking deeper into why Ben has returned. She starts to learn the struggles he has been through and looks to try and rebuild the bridges before it is too late.

Verdict on Trouble

Trouble is a comedy-drama following feuding siblings as they fight over who owns some family land. As the two constantly try to outdo each other, certain truths from their past start to come to light. Leading them down memory lane and realising how much they are wasting with their arguments.

This is a moving comedy-drama that shows how much you need your family around you in life. Showing how petty differences can create tension but deep down they need each other. While the heart of bringing a family back together is here. There doesn’t seem to be much more about how bad things got beforehand. Even if the performances are strong, they get awkward small-town American laughs along the way.

Final Thoughts – Trouble is a by-the-book comedy-drama.
