Traumatika is a horror thriller following a series of events involving a demon searching for victims. It follows the demon and the destruction it has caused for generations, leading up to the latest encounter with a former connection.

This movie takes the demonic possession idea to a level unlike anything before. We jump through generations, using an artefact to control the actions. It is twisted beyond belief, taking steps many movies didn’t dare attempt. This creates an unpredictable side to the story, which leaves us shocked by the direction things go in. The movie does feel extremely busy, with the opening sequences in the house, feeling like an early nightmare level on a video game. It presents a chaotic nature, which sometimes can feel too busy at times. The demon side of things brings a bloody and gory series of events, which can feel relentless at times.

Final ThoughtsTraumatika is a brutal, bloody and gory journey into nightmares.
