Verdict on Thelma & Louise

Thelma & Louise is an adventure movie following two best friends whose trip away takes a dramatic turn. This will see them going on the run from the law to escape the lives they have gotten tired of.

It is one of the most iconic movies of all time, with motivation for people to escape their lives that are going nowhere. This has great friendship chemistry between Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis, giving them both an Oscar nomination for their work.

The story is kept simple with the women on the run after only one crime that for some reason has a state crossing manhunt for them. This does feel like too much from the police despite the officer leading the investigation, only wanting to hear the story. In the end, this is one of the best movies of an era, that gives so much to the movement away from trapped lives.

Final Thoughts Thelma & Louise is a classic on every level.
