Thoughts on The Informer

ThoughtsThe Informer is an action thriller showing us how one man can find himself in an impossible position when he gets forced into becoming an informant in a gang for the FBI, only to find himself getting burned when things don’t go to plan for the FBI. This is a story that is filled with twists and turns, with the stakes being incredible high, as everything could be the worse for any of the characters we meet in the film. There is suspense in nearly every scene in the film, where this film pushes away from the comfy world of family, that will be just as threatening as the crime world. The performances in the film are great, with everyone from Joel Kinnaman in the leading role, to the supporting cast get to shine through every scene in the film. This does feel like a stronger entry into the crime informant film, that goes in directions we haven’t seen much from before.

Final Thoughts The Informer is an intense thriller that will make every scene feel like a threat.
