Recap

The documentary follows the investigations into the robbery in the diamond district of Antwerp. It shows how not many clues were left but the ones which were left pointed toward the School of Turin an elite group of thieves. Meanwhile, the thieves tell their story behind the heist.

Best Parts

This is an interesting case and most importantly, it is one which happened over 20 years ago. It means it isn’t just a rushed one after a recent event. This examines the technology of the time, the group of thieves and how they operate, along with the details which led them in certain direction.

Worst Parts

The documentary seems to portray them as good thieves, which is strange. It shows the ups and downs in careers and doesn’t seem to leave anyone coming out of this looking like the good guys, even the detectives.

Final ThoughtsStolen: Heist of the Century is an interesting look into one of the biggest crimes of all time.
