Recap

The movie follows a boy going on his first summer camp. He struggles to fit in and a campfire story creates a nightmare the whole camp must work together to escape from.

Best Parts

The masked killer is standout and extremely threatening. Summer camp slasher is always an easy horror location, and this goes in a different direction you wouldn’t expect. The bigger story is surprising, and you won’t see coming. We have a fun series of performances who bring the different characters to life.

Worst Parts

The biggest problem was the sound, the talking parts are almost silent and when the action kicks in it is so intensely loud. Despite having a great reveal, it ends up overplaying it for the final act.

Final ThoughtsMarshmallow is a surprising series of events in the slasher world.
