Story: I Heart Willie starts when four friends Nora (Luna), Daniel (Rogalto), Jess (Porras) and Nico (Camacho) head to an abandoned building. They are searching for answers to a mysterious event that occurred in the same location about a killer who wears a mouse mask.

Once, they begin their investigation, it doesn’t take long for them to come face to face with the killer. However, Nora has an unusual connection to the killer who is searching for their latest victims.

Recap

The movie follows a group of friends investigating the mysterious events around an urban legend. However, once they arrive, they awaken an evil they are not prepared for and must fight to survive.

Best Parts

The idea that content creators look into mysterious crimes is interesting to see. It uses the location well to create an isolation factor for the story.

Worst Parts

The fact this is more torture porn will turn people off. It doesn’t do enough to build the suspense or even enough to make the characters interesting. There are painful stereotypes which don’t seem to match up, and an over-the-top, confusing storyline only makes things feel uncomfortable for no reason. This falls into an example of using public domain material weakly without giving enough pure horror.

Final ThoughtsI Heart Willie is a bloody, but directionless horror movie.
