Plot: A daring dream to scale the world’s most challenging trio of mountains soon turns into a terrifying nightmare for a group of friends when a deadly storm traps the climbers near the summit and cuts off all hope of rescue. With the odds stacked against them, the friends are forced to trust each other to save themselves by any means necessary.

Story: Summit Fever starts when climber Michael (Thorp) decides to go for one final climb before settling down into his career. He joins his climbing partner JP (Biel), Leo (Phillippe), and Natascha (New), as they look to climb the mountains in the Alps.
JP is happy to go at Michael’s pace, while Leo wants to go at his own pace. This starts to see a divide between the team, despite Michael getting the first couple of mountains done. As Michael decides to give up his life back home, he moves to the area. Michael and JP continue to challenge themselves, with a risky climb, showing that addiction to climbing is taking over, no matter what it can take from them.
Verdict on Summit Fever
Summit Fever is an action drama that focuses on the addiction to climbing. Following a man that has been constantly getting better and wants to honour his sister. He gets caught up in the more dangerous climbs in the Alps around Mount Blanc.
This dives into the culture created within the climbing community, showing how many times they just keep getting back up again. Despite seeing their friends and experts die around them. With the first couple of climbs being minor interactions on the mountains. It takes away any real danger from the events. The final climb gets more involved in the dangers, showing the chaos that can be caused by mother nature.
When it comes to performances, everyone is good, without needing to excel. The characters seem to hold off showing any emotions, which seems to be more about surviving the climbing world.
