Verdict on One True Loves
One True Loves is a romantic comedy following a woman who sees her husband declared dead and moves on. Only it turns out he is still alive and she is left with a difficult choice of what to do next with her life. Stay with her new fiancée or get back together with her husband.
This is an interesting romantic comedy because it would be almost impossible to make the decision. Part of the story feels like the aftermath of the Tom Hanks movie Castaway, where we see him return to society when everyone has moved on. However, this adds a flavour of humour that works for romantic comedies. It gets the laughs, while dealing with the difficult life decision put in play. The performances are fun and add plenty to the bigger story going on.
Where to Watch: Signature Entertainment presents One True Loves on Digital Platforms on 6th November.
Final Thoughts –One True Loves is an enjoyable romantic comedy.
