Verdict on One Day as a Lion
One Day as a Lion is an action comedy following a small-time criminal trying to get money to help get his son out of jail. He ends up kidnapping a waitress and the two start getting closer as the mob boss starts trying to track him down.
This movie takes us into the oddball small-town criminal trying to do the right thing. It has a series of events with an escalating level of humour but never manages to reach the laugh-out-loud level. The movie shows that strangers coming together can achieve the best for people, while crime bosses get what they deserve.
Where to Watch
Final Thoughts – One Day as a Lion is a routine small-town crime comedy.
