Plot: Follows the story of Anna who grieves the death of her parents as she moves from New York to Florida to stay with her grandmother. She falls in with some other teens, but when she sees a grisly act of violence, she finds trapped.

Story: Night Terror starts when Anna’s (Peak) parents die in a car accident, forcing her to move into her estranged grandmother May (Merkerson). Anna tries to adapt to a new life away from the big city but struggles to fit in with the quiet country life. she meets Julie (Giles) and Shawn (Bennett), who quickly make her friends in the town.
However, the friendship comes at a cost and Anna quickly finds her life turned upside. She begins suffering new nightmares from an evil spirit haunting her dreams. Can she escape them before it is too late and suffer the same fate as her family before?
Verdict on Night Terror
Recap
The movie follows an orphaned teenager who moves in with her Grandmother. She learns about a legend which has haunted the local town and must stop it before she becomes the latest victim.
Best Parts
The creepy figure which haunts Anna is a terrifying design. It shows the connection between the family and the supernatural, which drives the haunting events. We get strong performances from the whole cast, which brings the fears involved.
Worst Parts
We get creepy moments, but it seems to go a bit slower in places and slower than it needs to. It can feel withdrawn from the bigger picture despite having good scares.
Final Thoughts –Night Terror has a great monster design and good scares.
