Verdict on Last Resort
Recap
The movie follows a military man forced back to the life he has nightmares about. His family is captured by a terrorist group, and he must go after them to rescue his family and save the world.
Best Parts
The action has solid moments, with the singular location helping keep things feeling contained. There is a redemption arc for Michael who has lost faith in the world and must use his skills to save his loved ones. The core story is simple to keep with, one man needing to take on an army to save loved ones and the world.
Worst Parts
While this gets the basics perfect, it doesn’t do much else. It brings nothing new to table, and the acting is not the strongest.
Final Thoughts –Last Resort is a typical late-night action movie.
