First Reaction – Kid does an excellent job at showing the struggles to achieve dreams.

Story: Kid starts when ambitious music producer Henry (McLafferty) discovers his father’s old music. Meanwhile, his sister Roxy (Millington) and her controlling boyfriend Tristan (Fernandez) live with him. They are each other’s rocks and keep themselves grounded in chasing their dreams.

Henry faces an opportunity of a lifetime. However, Roxy’s relationship begins to fall apart, and he finds himself in the same position his father was once. Either chase his dream or look after his family.

The movie follows an ambitious music producer chasing his dream. However, the competition is fierce, and his personal life holds him back. He is left to make a big decision about his future and supporting his family.

Best Parts

The movie shows how difficult it is to chase dreams; it shows the sacrifice which must be made. It includes the struggles to keep a normal life together and learning what parents give up for their children. We touch on serious subjects and use the time to prove life isn’t always easy. The performances are strong throughout, and the stars show the emotional impact their decisions make.

Final Thoughts –Kid is a strong message about chasing dreams and the damage it can take.
