Story: Jules starts as we meet Milton (Kingsley) a lonely older man living a quiet life in a small western town. He is trying to get simple things changed in his town, but not getting through to anyone. However, one day his life is turned upside down when a UFO crashes in his backyard.

Milton discovers an alien from the UFO and welcomes it into his home. While some of the other residents Sandy (Harris) and Joyce (Curtin) listen to his stories. The rest of the town, including his daughter, who thinks he is losing his mind and old age is catching up with him.

Jules is a sci-fi comedy following three elderly residents of a small town who discover an alien in one of their backyards. They decide to help the figure find a way to go home, while many of the other residents believe they are getting old.

This is a sweet little comedy using the idea we can ignore the elderly in everyday life. It shows how people can ignore their stories and problems. All while proving people can make a connection through the same problems, without realizing it. This turns into a harmless approach of an alien creature, almost like an elderly version of ET.
